The Mitrata Children Home has now been established for eleven years and has continued to grow in size, strength and support from a variety of people around the world, which we are eternally indebted to. The longer our home is open the more we look to the long term sustainability and security of our children and their future.
The board of Mitrata has all been working closely together and feels it is time to start thinking of how we can ensure a safe and secure home for the children we now have as well as those we hope to assist in the future.
The Mitrata Nepal Capital Fund has been developed to assist in achieving this goal, whilst we are still open to the opportunity for sponsorship of new children we are urging any possible donors to consider donating to this fund. This fund will be separate from other funds and will be used to acquire land and secure building materials and contractors to construct a Mitrata home that consists of the entire necessary infrastructure to care for up to 150 children holistically.
The home will consist of 3 buildings including a small medical/sick bay, water treatment and library. For any interested people please contact Mitrata and we can forward you a PDF copy of the complete proposal.
